M + S  sure know how to throw a party! When I first chatted with them they described their ideal wedding as a mix between summer camp and a festival. When they told me about renting out Camp Silver Creek at Silver Falls State Park, I knew they were definitely headed in the right direction. We arrived on-site 3 days before the wedding to begin cleaning and decorating the very rustic cabins and buildings. We also blew up 100 air mattresses that we placed on all of the cabin sleeping areas. Each guest checked-in when they first arrived and were given weekend essentials (a tin cup to decorate and cut down on waste, hiking snacks, cookies, a trail map and directions to their camp cabin.) Guests were able to play games on the expansive lawn, swim in the lakes, grab breakfast and lunch at the kitchen-cabin each day, view the waterfalls, and participate in morning yoga sessions. Everyone I passed was always smiling as they were planning their activities for the day or just simply bumbling around camp.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect as M + S exchanged their vows in a hidden amphitheater in the woods. The party then continued late into the night as guests closed the night down by roasting marshmallows and telling stories around the fires.
